0800 to 0845. Because
there is no entry fee, you will not be paired for the 1st
round unless you check in with tournament officials. If you will be late and want to be
paired for the first round, contact the tournament director
prior to 0845.

Trophies/Plaques to Top 3 overall players, Top player of each
DoD service on Active Duty, Top Reservist, Top Retiree, Top
three Cadets/Midshipmen/ROTC, Top two each class A-D and below,
& Highest Upset. Other Trophies/Plaques and special prizes will
be awarded as funding permits. |

This is a US Chess
Federation National Championship open to all active duty,
reserve, & retired members of the US military and Coast Guard.
ROTC and military academy personnel are also eligible.
The format is 6-round Swiss. Time controls from G/90 to 30/90,
SD/60. See the round
schedule for specifics.
